Today I noticed
crows being loud and hyper in the morning. there was a bad milk to Rice Krispies ratio. the tiled floor was cold on my bare feet. that my friend sounds kinda middle eastern on the phone. how my mam got angry when I threw the banana peel out the window. the thunder clouds giving me a headache and leaving me dizzy. that it’s hard to contain a lot of beer in the mouth when wanting to...

POEM-Solpemumopp
In standing still with the crackling smile of bricks slung river melting off and all the various pretendings beside. Laughs drunk up from the grass little thunders of these slow shoes  all going away from the main  thing that trips out like a hyper robber late or early when crows cry  and all the things to think climb their ladders.

POEM-Out on the tiles
I’m waiting in the queue not knowing what to do deliberating on showing my ID before  those bouncers ask me to and I’m just minding my own business in line with all these drunken friends hearing the clinks of ends of drinks getting sunk down like water through sinks just so sober the night already feels over while floating like a boat on a sea of slur and some boys go toe to...

now its a blue piece of sponge singing out a bit of business to the gutter cats are hanging down low giving high fives nobody could care for it blinking thoughts away even when it does not seem so absolved or despite a wreckless morsel of hyper maybes eyebrows lifting up and out like cranes puffing mushroom as if bullying the wood by the hills that miss the gutter

POEM-In my friend's garden.
The blackbird flapped about  on the grass like a broken accordion when I got close enough to it  it would sit still as if trying to hide behind those few green blades of grass. It was only protecting its young willing to become a martyr  beside the hedgerow full of sharp twigs.

POEM-That Cat Chase.
I snuck small like an elf following behind  a cat  while it sat tucked  meowing out calls then ran like fuck not allowing itself to be patted so I ran right ahead after it down an alley with high walls had I known where the alley led  past the shoddy gutters and telephone poles then in my head I would have said God no not at all   and  run fast back the way instead because thats where...

POEM-We'll Go There Then.
we got out of the car and danced around drinking weird water from the outdoor tap feeling so full of pizza  when I looked through  our conversation to the deserted house by the railway  and the mist coming along down the slope of the  green hill

POEM-Some day in the nineties
nobody cried when it all happened there was no noise in the air where pigeons wandered looking down on toothy metal intertwined with faces and legs on the ground the oil oozed painted its own idea of the place when it mixed with the water by the gutter for some few lost minutes it was calm before the rush of sirens  came in like a Zulu army and the people assuming stances by their...

POEM-Tec
as the evening sinks  below the far away trees we sit on the dry grass in my old childhood field  smoking mango tobacco with the moon and its light  blooming through the milky clouds watching the silhouettes of bats flying  as if  set off like elastic bands the dogs bark above our conversations remembering when we were teenagers  and how nothing much  has changed at all

POEM- Not sure if you'd call it one.
thinking is like being in a slow motion coma or floating in a foam ocean and now my blinking blurs in motion as if it were a low shutter speed camera until I begin sinking between these bleary seas and cluttered reveries  too unflexed to get  set free feeling too seized and full of wheeze and depleted of stamina  and now my head feels heady already with my legs  unsteady and tummy turning fed...
